Natedm3Neat portal effect that I created for "Quake Monkeys" (the name of natedm3). It uses shaders with all sorts of transformations on it to make the teleporter look like something that would be capable of transporting a player.
Natedm3this is a recreation of Quake1's famous DM4 "The Bad Place". It's quite a bit different but I was hoping to get that same level of action packed in there. Finished this one in April, 2004.
Natedm3wanting to enhance skills other than hallway and cube manipulation I set out to exercise my knowledge of other more "professional" art packages. I did this with all free limited software like Gimp and Gmax. This is the kind of thing that I'd like to bring into my profession eventually.
models - MushroomI had to light up this dark area so I hunted the internet for some mushroom images and then did some shader magic and modeling. I was especially proud of this model because it only took about 2-3 hours from idea to finished product.

Natedm2My second Quake3 level. I made this level standout with the use of custom models created in 3dstudios Max. This was done July,2000 right around the time I started working on MOHAA.

NateraceI tried to build this level for Quake3 Rally (a mod) while I was working on MOHAA. Too many hours spent in the Level editor made me decide to drop this level.

RA3Nate1Rocket Arena is a Quake3 Modification that allows players to compete in multiple arena's at the same time (all on the same level load). I wanted to make Natedm1 present in Rocket arena since it seemed very much rocket arena friendly. This is one arena's I added to that multiarena map.
